What Am I Responsible For?

 LCWSD’s responsibility for all water service lines is from the connection at the LCWSD’s main water line to the water meter box, including all components within the water meter box. From the backside of the water meter box to the customer’s premises is the sole responsibility of the customer to install, own, maintain, and/or replace. LCWSD does not and cannot locate customer installed water lines beyond the meter box to residence due to the lines not being installed or maintained by LCWSD

Wastewater Service Lines

LCWSD’s responsibility of all wastewater service lines is from the connection at LCWSD’s main wastewater line to the edge of road right-of-way or easement area, if applicable. Normally, the customer will connect to the new wastewater service line with a cleanout and install back to the premises with the appropriate number of cleanouts between the two points. Reference the Sewer Inspection Application for more information. From the customer installed cleanout to the customer’s premises is the sole responsibility of the customer to install, own, maintain, and/or replace.
